Sonography, also known as ultrasound or ultrasonography, is a medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. Sonographers, often referred to as ultrasound technologists, perform ultrasound examinations to visualize and assess various organs and structures in the body.
