Social determinants of health (SDOH) are the economic, social, and environmental factors that individuals are born into, and are related to health outcomes. These factors include but are not limited to access to quality healthcare, education, housing, and employment potential. Addressing SDOH is a key focus in public health to reduce health disparities and improve community well-being.
