Sometimes, life throws you a curveball. WCU-Texas nursing alumna Paola B. didn鈥檛 grow up thinking she would be a nurse. In fact, she wanted to be a veterinarian and even went as far as studying for a year to become vet. However, after her grandmother got sick, Paola stepped into a caretaker role and the experience helped her realize that nursing was her true passion.
鈥淢y instructors were amazing,鈥 Paola said of her time at 国产主播. 鈥淎ny time we needed anything, we鈥檇 just go knock on their door.鈥
Having recently passed her NCLEX, Paola found a role as a pediatric IMU nurse. We couldn鈥檛 be happier to have her be a part of the WCU alumni family!
