After earning his bachelor鈥檚 degree in India, he began his career as a registered nurse. “I worked at the bedside in various capacities鈥攅mergency rooms, intensive care units, and med-surge,鈥 Sunil shared. His clinical expertise extended to specialized areas such as plastic surgery and emergency care, where he spent the majority of his time.
Teaching was always on his horizon. “In India, I taught nursing students, and that experience stayed with me,鈥 he said. 鈥淲hen I moved to the U.S., I saw an opportunity to continue teaching while bringing my global perspective to a diverse student body.鈥
