More than 80 new nursing students took their first step towards a career in healthcare at聽国产主播-Ontario’s orientation day.
WCU-Ontario Student Affairs Director Jonathan Langley said the 88 new students had the chance to meet Dr. Bart Lerner, Dean Kathleen Payne and a variety of on-campus staff and faculty during the morning and afternoon sessions on June 7.
Lerner 鈥斅爄n addition to his “Price is Right” story聽鈥 wowed the group with his memory name game. Many others walked away inspired about becoming nurses after hearing an address by Dean Payne and Executive Director Danielle Sperandeo.
Students also enjoyed an on-campus 鈥渟cavenger hunt鈥 in small groups while guided by current students who volunteer in the PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) program.
