WCU-Ontario Celebrates Newest BSN Graduates at November Pinning Ceremony

Students gathered on stage at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga to celebrate the end of their journey with WCU. Friends and family gathered in the audience to watch as our graduates walked across the stage to receive their nursing pin, a symbol of accomplishment.

Dr. Robyn Nelson, Dean of School of Nursing spoke to the crowd of how grateful she was for all the support she had throughout her time in nursing school and hopes that WCU-Ontario students feel the same. She even took a selfie with the graduates sporting her own nursing cap she earned when she completed her schooling.

A part of the graduates was Emmanuel Belarmino who gave a speech about his experience at WCU.

鈥淲hen I started my tour of the campus, that鈥檚 when I realized that West Coast was the best fit for me,鈥 He explained, 鈥淚t was a fast-paced program, and I liked how the curriculum was set up.鈥

Belarmino says the long days was all worth it and him and his classmates are ready for the next challenge.
