After graduating from 国产主播 in 2017, Jason K. began his new grad career as a renal and dialysis nurse.聽

While caring for his patients at the bedside, Jason decided that with his previous military service he wanted to pursue a leadership position in nursing.

After just a few years, Jason was promoted to clinical nurse manager, where he took a hands-on approach to and ensured each nurse鈥檚 priority was patient care. He also made it a priority to address staffing concerns, develop his team鈥檚 skillset, and ensure the team worked as a unit.

In his role, Jason is responsible for clinical metrics and implementing new protocols for infection control management that aligns with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

For new graduates and fellow alumni hoping to pursue leadership roles, Jason said it鈥檚 important to always remember the basics and the foundation you built at 国产主播.

鈥淣o matter what’s going on, you have to absolutely know your clinical skills,鈥� he said. 鈥淵our hard work, knowledge and passion will continue to propel you forward in your career.鈥�
