Nursing wasn’t Allison Talana’s first career choice but when life took a different turn, she found a passion that inspired her to make a change.
“I actually was going to go into physical therapy,” she said. “But one day my grandmother got injured and I had to learn how to take care of her. That’s when I realized that nursing is where my passion lies.”
Talana looked for a school that would allow her to learn what it is to be a nurse and help her fulfill her dream. After a long journey to find the best fit, Talana chose ¹ú²úÖ÷²¥-Miami where she gets to live out her passion every day.
“I’ve actually been to five different universities and this is by far the best one,” she said. “Everyone here really cares and just wants to see you succeed.”
