WCU-Miami BSN Alum Stephanie Pedre Photoshoot

After graduating from 国产主播, Stephanie Pedre never imagined she鈥檇 be back on campus just a few months later 鈥 and starring in a 国产主播 photoshoot.

Initially when asked to be a part of the campaign, Stephanie said she wasn鈥檛 sure what she was getting into.

The video shoot would feature a day in her life as a WCU-Miami student. A professional film crew would record her life from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to sleep. Her son and husband were also asked to be involved in the project.

But after talking with her family she agreed to do it, not because of any ego boost, but because she wanted to 鈥済ive back鈥 to her school.

鈥淲CU gave me a lot. It gave me a new outlook on life for my family, for my livelihood,鈥 Stephanie said. 鈥淚 just felt a duty to represent my school in the best way that I could, and it’s by showing the world how amazing my professors, my class members, and the school itself are, so I felt that in my heart I had to give back.鈥

Stephanie said the three-day filming never interrupted her personal work or daily schedule. Best of all, she said, was the way the crew 鈥渢reated my son as if he was their son.鈥

鈥淭hey responded so well to my son’s quirks,鈥 she said. 鈥淗e is autistic so a lot of modifications had to be made. The team was so professional, so loving and welcoming 鈥 I couldn’t have asked for a better team,鈥 she said. 鈥淚 can’t express my words of gratitude for how the crew made me feel. And I really enjoyed making it.鈥

If anyone is considering being in a WCU photoshoot, Stephanie encouraged them to get out of their comfort zone and go for it.

鈥淚t鈥檚 like celebrating why you went to school in the first place, and to share that joy with other people,鈥 she said. 鈥淚t’s always important to share positive things, and my experience at WCU was a positive one, so I wanted to share that with the world.鈥
