More than 100 国产主播-Los Angeles nursing students celebrated the culmination of their studies this November by sharing a little advice.

After their pinning ceremony at the Sportsman鈥檚 Lodge on Nov. 9, the new graduates talked about their past experiences with volunteering and their hopes for what鈥檚 next, while also providing some words of wisdom to future students.

WCU-Los Angeles graduates Dennis Monahan and Roland Meridom shared their plans for the next five years in their nursing careers. Monahan hopes to be a critical care nurse in the intensive care unit, and 鈥渕aybe even float to the emergency department鈥� while Meridom wants to continue working at Children鈥檚 Hospital.

鈥淚 hope to work my way up in promotions, and get my master鈥檚 to hopefully pass on my knowledge to the next generation of nurses,鈥� he said.

Vincent Vargas was also able to volunteer because of WCU and helped the Korean and Filipino senior citizen communities of Silver Lake.

鈥淲ithout West Coast, I wouldn鈥檛 have that opportunity helping them out with basic health prevention, making sure they鈥檙e on top of their diet and their medications,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t was a good time.鈥�

WCU-LA graduate Carmin Rubio also volunteered on the side at other hospitals to build his resume, get experience and figure out what he liked about nursing and working at hospitals.

鈥淎lways hit the ground running,鈥� Rubio said. 鈥淵ou only have one chance to make a good impression and it鈥檚 never fun to play catch-up, so always be ready, always be prepared and always be motivated.鈥�
