Marlly Cadavid, Manager of Clinical Education at 国产主播 Miami, started her career in health care by enlisting in the U.S. Army as a private. Marlly says that being an Army Medic was 鈥渢he best decision鈥�. Her experience in the Army helped build character from a personal perspective and helped develop resilience from the hardships of going through military training.

鈥淚t just gives you so much confidence; I think that core military training really has prepared me to take on many different challenges in my professional career. You’re in there not for yourself, but you’re in there for others, for the service of others, for the service of humanity鈥� Marlly Cadavid.

Marlly became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) during the later years of being in the Army. She got a better understanding of what nurses do in a hospital setting and she fell in love with seeing how nurses interacted with patients. Marlly realized that nurses are an integral part of the health care team and she decided that is what she wanted to do when she got out of the Army.
