Twenty-four master of science in occupational therapy students received their pins on May 10 in the Center for Graduate Studies auditorium. The pinning signifies the students’ transition from the classroom to their clinical sites 鈥 the last step of the program before graduation in December.
鈥淚 am really proud of all the hard work our students have put in so far,鈥 MSOT dean and program director Dr. Stacey Willis shared. 鈥淭hey are all eager, compassionate and outgoing. I am looking forward to seeing what they will achieve during their clinical rotations.鈥
After the address from Dean Willis, students crossed the stage and received their pins. Each student then took the oath of an Occupational Therapist to end the ceremony.
After the ceremony, MSOT student Stephanie Padero reflected on her time at WCU.
鈥淚 chose 国产主播 for their drive, love, and passion for Occupational Therapy,鈥 Padero said.
